The opportunity came along for Swamp Baby to work with internationally acclaimed film director Bruce MacDonald on his punk rock mockumentary "Hard Core Logo."

Peter Moore, already given the honour to produce the "Hard Core Logo" soundtrack, made it possible for Swamp Baby to audition, via cassette, to compose the sountrack music. Swamp Baby used Michael Turner's poetry from the novel, "Hard Core Logo", and arranged it into a lyrical format. Bruce MacDonald picked Swamp Baby to compose and perform the soundtrack. It wasn't much of a stretch for Swamp Baby, given their Punk Rock roots, to deliver a series of punk rock anthems.

Swamp Baby won Best Original Song at the 1996 Genie Awards, the highest award for Canadian film, for the track "Who the Hell Do You Think You Are."

The film then toured many festivals, won many awards worldwide, and caught the artistic eye of film heavy Quentin Tarantino. His company 'Rolling Thunder Pictures' was then responsible for the 'Hard Core' assault on the American people. Along with the film release, the original soundtrack was made available throughout the States and Canada on Velvel records and is distributed by BMG.
