Formed in 1989 as an original 3-piece punk-rock band 'The Sentence,' the band soon grew by 2 members to become Swamp Baby. The influx of lead guitar player Erno Vlasics and Shaman vocalist Steve Cowal saw Swamp Baby spawn their self-titled debut album. Producer Peter J. Moore captured this recording live off the floor by 1 Calrec Ambisonic Mic and 5 live musicians.

After 4 years and a hard-earned reputation for high-energy live shows time came for Erno to move along on his own musical jouney. Along came Mark Bosa, a skilled guitar player with hot licks and a youthful enthusiasm that had an infectous influence on the songwriting. Shortly thereafter came the album 'Rock Heavy Ripple', another Peter Moore production. This time, although a much more controlled studio effort, this record had all the raw energy of the original disc and did not apologize for it! Soon after came the opportunity to work on "Hard Core Logo."
